CIFTA - Being advocated as a move against criminals. However, it does seem to require a federal firearms registration database available to other countries or member states in the Organization of American States (OAS)

Articles X & XI would appear to require a federal gun registration database. And “State Party” refers to the Organization of American States (OAS. The US is but one state. Mexico is another. Do we want the Mexican Mafia having access to US addresses where they can steal or rob guns.
ARTICLE X
Strengthening of Controls at Export Points
Each State Party shall adopt such measures as may be necessary to detect and prevent illicit trafficking in firearms, ammunition, explosives, and other related materials between its territory and that of other States Parties, by strengthening controls at export points.
ARTICLE XI
Recordkeeping
States Parties shall assure the maintenance for a reasonable time of the information necessary to trace and identify illicitly manufactured and illicitly trafficked firearms to enable them to comply with their obligations under Articles XIII and XVII.
